Services

 EMNA services are provided in-home for prenatal and postpartum recovery, which include 24 hours of no-cost support from our support care team. We offer non-medical guidance, emotional support and education.

Postpartum support and Care (Mother Care)

Our postpartum EMNA care will provide in-home, non-medical support care for newborn receiving Mothers. We provide unbiased, emotional, physical and family-centered one-on-one support that relates to the family’s parenting goals.

EMNA team will not tell you how to parent, we will support you and your family choices every step of the way. 

We provide tips and tricks that work best for you and help you transition smoothly into parenthood.

In-home supportive care

  • Infant/newborn care assistance, education and guidance
  • Meal preparation, shopping for groceries, light household cleaning, nesting preparations.
  • Sibling care and support during postpartum period
  • Light house duties (in-home activities of daily living)
  • Infant feeding support

Virtual Support

  • Childhood development (reflexes, cues, milestones, activities, etc.)
  • “Just to chat” / Postpartum topics (relationships, body changes/healing, postpartum mood & anxiety disorders, etc.)
  • Partner & Older Children check-ins (calls for just your partner &/or older children)
  • 24/7 support* via text, voice call, or e-mail for questions that can be answered in a few minutes

Evidence Based Education

EMNA will offer personalized and evidence-based education to ensure each family’s unique needs are met. We understand the unique challenges faced by low-income and single parent families, and strive to make our services accessible and at no-cost.

 Our services will include both online and in-home support, making it convenient for the family.

  •  Our postpartum doula services will provide emotional and physical support during the critical time after birth
  •  Our experienced doulas and EMNA support team will offer guidance on newborn care, breastfeeding, and self-care for the mother
  • Our newborn care education service provides expectant and new parents with the knowledge and skills to confidently care for their babies. 

Breastfeeding

With our service, new parents can feel confident and supported in their breastfeeding journey.

Our breastfeeding assistance service offers personalized support for new mothers, ensuring a comfortable and successful feeding experience. The certified lactation consultants provide guidance and information for any breastfeeding challenges.
